this is one of the drills we use for conditioning soccer athletes. they will dribble off the wall or with partners if there are two or more athletes. this is done for a set time. then on demand they will do a 3/4 sprint (here its approx 70yds). they will then go back to the dribble for a desired amount of time. i use this in a couple ways. 1- see how many sprints the athlete can perform in a certain time. 2- do a set amount of sprints and adjust the “active” rest (wall dribble). after the interval is complete, perform a set number of shots on goal. mix it up and make it fun…

With many different high schools and soccer clubs in attendance, we knew we were going to find some diamonds in the rough. As we pulled up, the Coral Gables Soccer Team was more than willing to open the gates to let the infamous green hornet onto the field.
